It is beaten only by United, Delta, British Airways, American, and Lufthansa. Indeed, Air France has 21% more US flights this month than in November 2019, ensuring it is among the fastest-growing operators. It is part of its record winter offering.
Air France’s US routes: a summary
OAG shows that Air France has 587 flights departing to the US this month, up by a fifth over November 2019. It has 12 routes, the same as in 2019. However, while it previously had Paris Orly-New York JFK in winter, its US network is now entirely from CDG. Orly returns next summer.
Its CDG growth is from significant expansion on CDG-JFK (+49%, from 4x daily to mainly 6x daily), Los Angeles (+45%, now mainly 3x daily), and Miami (100%, 1x daily to 2x daily). It has also benefited from Dallas Fort Worth becoming year-round for the first time. Note that CDG-Newark, back after 11 years, doesn’t resume until December.
