San Francisco, Cleveland, Phoenix, Houston, Chicago, and Tampa will have new routes.
US ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has announced the launch of ten new domestic routes across the United States, including four from San Francisco International (SFO), three from Cleveland International (CLE), two from Houston Intercontinental (IAH), one from Phoenix International (PHX), and one from Chicago Midway (MDW).
Frontier has also announced the launching day of its routes from Tampa Bay International (TPA) to Punta Cana (PUJ) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) in the Dominican Republic.
New routes for Frontier Airlines
On Tuesday, Frontier Airlines announced the launch of a series of new routes in the next few months. These new services will mainly be operated from San Francisco and Cleveland. Frontier will launch a new seasonal nonstop service from San Francisco to Chicago Midway (MDW), Orlando International (MCO), Detroit International (DTW), and Cleveland in May and June 2023.
The services to Orlando and Chicago will begin on May 10 and 21, respectively, and will have daily frequencies. Meanwhile, the flights to Detroit and Cleveland will start on June 22 and 23 with three and four weekly services.
Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial at Frontier Airlines, said that these routes will benefit the people living in the San Francisco Bay region, which will “now have more affordable and convenient options to visit these fabulous destinations.”

From Cleveland, Frontier Airlines will begin operating flights to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), San Diego (SAN), and Charlotte (CLT) in May and June. The services to Dallas and Charlotte will begin on May 12 with four weekly frequencies each. Frontier’s flight to San Diego will begin on June 8 with three weekly flights.

Finally, Frontier Airlines also announced a new route from Chicago Midway to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and one from Phoenix International to Tampa (TPA). These services will begin on June 16 and 18 with four and three weekly flights each. This is a map of the new domestic routes announced by Frontier Airlines:
Beginning service to the Dominican Republic from Tampa
Today, Frontier Airlines also announced it will begin service from Tampa to Punta Cana and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic in May. The airline will launch the route to Punta Cana on May 21, with two weekly frequencies, and to Santo Domingo, one day later, with two weekly frequencies as well. Daniel Shurz said,
“From sunny Phoenix to the tropical paradise of the Dominican Republic, those across the Tampa Bay region now have even more affordable and convenient options when booking their next flight.”
